On April 26, 2024, a restaurant called Kyoto Gion Tonkatsu Wadafuku will open across from the Nishi Roh-mon gate of Yasaka Shrine. This restaurant has two other locations in Nagoya, in Kakuozan and Osu, and this is its first opening in Kyoto. The location is in the middle of a tourist area, and foreign visitors to Japan will be the main customers. Tonkatsu” in Japan is now attracting a lot of attention from foreigners, so I am sure the restaurant will be crowded every day.
