NAKED Cherry Blossom Festival, a cherry blossom viewing event by the creative company NAKED, will be held at the World Heritage Site Nijo Castle, which will be dyed in cherry blossom colors. 300 cherry trees of 50 varieties will be illuminated and gorgeous projection mapping of Kano School paintings will be projected to create a fantastic spring evening.
In addition to the food and beverage area where visitors can enjoy sakura-drenched drinks and food, a premium hanami area where visitors can relax and enjoy drinks and tea in Seiryuen, one of the best sakura spots in Nijo Castle, will also make its first appearance! In addition to general tickets, two types of special tickets are available for the NAKED Cherry Blossom Festival.
The Premium Ticket, which includes admission to the event and a luxurious hanami area, allows visitors to relax and enjoy the hospitality of the premium hanami area, including hanami sake, green tea and Japanese sweets from Kyoto’s long-established tea shop Fukujuen, and a photo opportunity with a samurai.
The ticket with a paper lantern is a very popular special ticket that allows you to put your name on a paper lantern, a familiar decoration at the NAKED Cherry Blossom Festival. The ticket also allows for priority entry without standing in line.
