A standing izakaya in Kiyamachi, Kyoto, where you can enjoy Japanese sake.
Fresh seafood purchased that day and our signature snacks are served in single portions, so you can go in alone. A particularly popular dish is the potato, which is served with shuto (salted bonito guts) and parmesan cheese. This dish is served with a generous sprinkling of cheese when served.
The restaurant always has about 30 varieties of sake on hand, but no matter which brand you choose, each glass is priced at a flat 580 yen. Sometimes rare and hard-to-find sake such as “Jikon” or “Aramasa” are included.
The interior of this restaurant is small and fills up quickly, so it is recommended to visit just after opening. The restaurant opens at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and at 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
