Inoue | Loved by Locals in Kyoto

Tavern

This restaurant is located on Inokuma-dori, a less crowded street in the Shijo-Omiya area of Kyoto. This restaurant is run by sisters from Miyazu City, Kyoto. Talking with the sisters has earned them a reputation for being soothing, and although it has only been open for a short time, it has already become a popular restaurant.

The theme of the restaurant’s cuisine is “never get tired of eating and drinking. Simple dishes that make the most of the ingredients will soothe your body. The most popular menu item is the handmade shumai (steamed pork dumplings). They sell out quickly, so don’t hesitate to order them when they are in stock.

Hot sake is recommended for drinking.
